Insurance billing is a very complicated business. Often there are questions regarding what equipment or supply is paid for, what your insurance will pay and what portion of the cost you are responsible for. We may ask you to sign forms necessary for us to conduct the billing process. All forms will be explained to you when you are asked to sign them and you will receive a copy of anything you sign.
At Anodyne Inc we want to help you understand this billing process. To the extent possible, we answer these questions prior to the service being provided. It is always good to check with your insurance before receiving any service
Anodyne Inc is contract with most insurance companies. We will bill all of your purchases to your insurance company regardless of our current contract with them. In order to ensure we are billing your insurance correctly please make sure to supply us with the most current information you have for your primary and secondary insurance coverage.
Most insurances require a doctors detailed prescription to process your claim. We will need to ensure this is received before we release the actual supply to be sent to you.
You may receive a bill from your insurance company if you have a deductible or coinsurance amount due, the item is a non covered service, or the insurance company is waiting for further information from you. Please see your individual insurance plan or contact your insurance company directly if you want review your insurance benefits and coverage information.
Cash or Credit?
If you prefer to pay cash for your item and do not want us to bill your insurance company, or do not have coverage for the item, you can purchase a supply over the phone and pay with a Visa, Mastercard, or a personal check for the item. Some items require a doctors detailed prescription in order for us to send the item, regardless of insurance coverage. For those items you will need to follow the steps to obtain a detailed prescription before we can allow you to purchase the item.
